Worship
Lectionary Year B (Book of Common Prayer pp. 900-910)

Worship is of primary importance within our family. In keeping with the Episcopal Church of the last 30 years, we are a sacramental church with the Eucharist being the primary form of worship. We also celebrate the major feast days throughout the church year.

Attendance
Sundays   High Holy Days

Sunday
9:00 A.M. – Eucharist with sermon and music. We acknowledge birthdays and anniversaries. There is a short children’s talk/story/sermon. We have a choir, a full compliment of acolytes, and lay readers. The service usually lasts about 1 hour.

Wednesday
10:00 A.M. – Service of Public Healing and Intercession. We anoint for those present and for those not present. The service is held in the chapel in the Parish House. Most often we celebrate a saint of the week. The service usually lasts about 30 minutes.

Feast Days
Feast Days are celebrated on their individual days. They are celebrated at 7:00 P.M. in the main church. We celebrate the Principal Feasts of the Church Year as outlined on page 15 of the Book of Common Prayer.

Dress
We have many family members and friends who have forsaken the coat and tie. We even have several who come in clean new blue jeans. The norm still seems to be leather shoes, slacks, shirt, and tie. As rector what I ask is that you wear whatever you would wear to meet someone you love and care about.
