Christian Formation (Sunday School)
A Christian Formation program is available for the entire congregation beginning at 10:15 A.M. on  Sunday mornings.

The teachers for the Adult Christian Formation class volunteer on a rotating basis.

The teachers from the "Journey to Adulthood---J2A"  Christian Formation classes are volunteers from the parish’s adults. We have classes for 6th though 12th graders.

Click here for the J2A volunteer calendar.

We also offer the Godly Play curriculum for Pre-School through 5th grade.

Click here for more information about our new Godly Play curriculum.

We have a class available for our infants/toddlers during Christian Formation time.

A trained employee and adult volunteers staff the nursery during the Worship Service for children through 5 years of age. We ask all people 6 years and older to attend our Worship Service.

The Brotherhood of St. Andrew is an international ministry of men within the Anglican Communion. The Brotherhood was incorporated by an Act of the U.S. Congress signed May 30, 1908 by President Theodore Roosevelt. The Act states, " the sole object of said corporation shall be the spread of Christ's Kingdom among men".

The St. John's Chapter of the Brother of Saint Andrew consists of the following church parishes: St. John's Halifax, Trinity South Boston, Christ Church Halifax, and Emmanuel Church Halifax. The Brotherhood meets the first Thursday of each month from 7:15 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. The ministry of the Brotherhood is to bring men and boys to Jesus Christ.
