Restaurant History: A Tradition of Excellence
Since 1958, Ernie's has been a fixture for the local folk and the travelers. Our varied menu and family style atmosphere have brought customers back time and time again. We take pride in knowing that some of our faithful patrons began coming to Ernie's as youngsters and now are bringing their children to Ernie's.
We have met so may people over the years, some local and out-of-town. We appreciate every customer that walks through our doors. We try to give a warm welcome to all.
Ernest (Ernie) Green owned and operated Ernie's Restaurant from 1958 until 1981, when he retired and sold the restaurant to his son, Ronnie, and wife, Joyce. Ernie loved the fellowship he had while in businesss and continued to be a part of Ernie's Restaurant until his death in October 1995. Through cheerful memories, Ernie will always be a part of Ernie's Restaurant.
On March 19, 1991, Ernie's Restaurant burned completely. July 1991 began the construction of the new Ernie's. Now, Ernie's has a new look. We strive to please with warm hospitality, good food and service.
Enjoy your visit and please come back again.
