You got that right. Ted Kennedy was dressed up as Barney the Dinosaur, drunk (of course), yelling, "I'm Tyrannasaurus SEX!!!" in front of women and children.
A prominent Democrat once grabbed an employee's hand and put it on his manhood. He exposed himself to a state employee. He also took advantage of a young intern. There is very hard and compelling evidence he raped a woman.
By comparison, Bob Packwood was run out of town for propositioning women. Granted, this was rude and obnoxious, but he was all talk. Never touched. And, by the witnesses' own testimonies, never continued after the initial "no."
But, hey, that's fair, because Repuglicans preach a higher moral authority. If they're going to talk the talk, they need to walk the walk - so I'm told.
The fact remains: To Liberals, the WORDS of a Republican are worse than the ACTIONS of a Democrat.
