Wrong, wrong, wrong.
The basic premise is, "Who's $$$ is it to start with?" This article refers to "relieving the national interest of $1.3 Trillion." Hello? Where did the "national interest" get the money??? It confiscated it against the wills of ordinary hard working folks who should be allowed how to best use their OWN hard earned cash.
Why do you see it as a division? Tell me, have you or anyone you know ever received a job from a poor person? I didn't think so.
While we're at it, I challenge the definition of what's poor in this country. I see the "poor" every day. They have a couple of cars, big screen TV's, VCR's, cell phones, etc.
I also challenge the "percentage" definition (i.e., "the poorest 10%"). You know what? Even if you Liberals magically (no, make that illegally) confiscated enough money from the honest hard working people of this country and gave every "poor" person an annual salary of $1 million dollars - - - there would STILL be the "poorest 10 percent." There will ALWAYS be the poorest people, even if those folks aren't poor.
BTW, the "rich" donate more to charity than any other group. Bill Gates has given away BILLIONS.
What they party represents is a group of people who have faith in the ordinary citizen to do what he or she feels is in their own best interest. Sounds kinda like what this country was founded on, doesn't it?
