Yes, it's the same Louie Freeh. The guy who ran the FBI since 1994. "The Bureau was embarassed by its investigation of Richard Jewell, a security guard who was wrongly suspected in the bombing of the Olympic Village during the 1996 Summer Games in Atlanta, and agents in the FBI crime lab were revealed to have fudged testimony to help prosecutors." (MSNBC News May 2, 2001). And it's the same Louie Freeh who allowed Hanssen to continue his spying for Moscow since 1985. In 1996, "...the Justice Department's inspector general (under Clinton) had urged bureau management to improve training and communications."
